About this product
Our fitters see plenty of feet that standard boots squeeze across the joints. Wayfell made the Nan Bield on a last 6mm wider at the ball of the foot, with extra height over the toes, and it comes only in this wide fit.
The upper is 2.2mm full-grain leather with a Wayseal membrane, on a PU midsole and 5mm Holdfast sole. It weighs 1,420g a pair in a UK 8. Nan Bield is the rough pass above Haweswater, and the boot suits that kind of stony ground.

Materials
Full-grain leather upper with a polyester lining and polyurethane membrane. PU midsole and rubber outsole.
Care
Clean off mud with a damp brush and let the leather dry naturally. Feed with a leather cream or wax two or three times a year.

Comfortable, laces fray
Great fit and dry on Croagh Patrick, which is a real test with all the loose stone. The laces frayed at the hooks within a couple of months. Swapped them and all good.

Wide feet, no pain
Size 11 extra-wide feet and I've struggled for years. These fit straight out of the box. Wore them along the edges above Hathersage all summer.
