About this product
Wayfell's everyday fabric boot is cut with a generous forefoot, which suits walkers who find most fabric boots pinch. The upper is synthetic leather and polyester mesh over a Wayseal membrane.
Underneath, the Holdfast sole has 5mm lugs with wide gaps between them, so mud clears as you walk. A pair weighs 1,240g in a UK 8. It makes a sensible first proper boot for the Lakes.

Care
Brush off mud and rinse with cold water. Dry at room temperature and treat with a fabric boot proofer every month or so in wet weather.

Solid boot, a bit clumpy
Grippy and dry. They feel heavier than the weight on the label, probably the chunky sole. The heel creaked for the first fortnight of dog walks, then went quiet.

Wide feet sorted
I've got wide feet and these are the first boots that didn't need stretching. Done the Fairfield Horseshoe twice and Helvellyn once. Still dry.
