About this product

Wide-fit walking boots for women are hard to find, and the usual advice is to buy a men's size. The women's Nan Bield keeps a women's heel and instep but widens the forefoot by 5mm and lifts the toe box, so a broad foot has room to spread on long descents.

It is made from 2mm full-grain leather over a Wayseal membrane, on the same 5mm Holdfast sole as the men's, and weighs 1,160g a pair in a UK 5.

Wipe clean with a damp cloth and dry slowly, never by a fire. Condition with a leather cream when the leather looks dry.

Worth the search
I'd been wearing men's boots for years because nothing else was wide enough. These fit like they were made for me. Walked up to Loch Skeen past the Grey Mare's Tail the week I bought them.
