About this product
The Brae is our leather hill boot, built with as few seams as we could manage. The upper is cut from 2.4mm full-grain leather in three main pieces, so there are fewer stitch lines for water to find.
Any of our stores can send the boots to our resoling partner in Northamptonshire when the 5mm Tor Grip lugs wear smooth. Give them three or four shorter walks to soften before you take them on a long day.

Materials
Full-grain leather upper with a recycled polyester lining and polyurethane membrane. PU midsole and rubber outsole.
Care
Clean with a damp brush and dry slowly at room temperature. Work in a beeswax boot wax while the leather is still slightly damp.

Great boot, slow to break in
Rubbed my left heel for the first couple of walks, so don't take them up Blencathra on day one. After that, no problems. Water runs straight off after a coat of wax.

Proper boots
Took about four walks to soften but now they're the comfiest boots I've had. Did the Ring of Steall in them in September and my feet were fine at the end. Heavy, but I knew that when I bought them.
