About this product
Laithe is the jacket for walks that start from the front door. A hanging mesh lining keeps the fabric off your skin, so it feels less clammy in cool, damp weather, and the 2-layer Weatherline shell is rated to 10,000mm. The hood has a stiffened peak and packs into the collar when the rain stops.
Two brushed-lined hand pockets keep cold fingers warm, and an inside zip pocket takes a phone and a folded map. The hem sits just below the hip. Wear through a cuff after years of use and we'll replace it under the Hale repair promise.

Solid everyday coat
Bought it for walks round Monsal Head with the kids. Dry after a wet afternoon and the peak keeps rain off my glasses. I'd have liked a chest pocket.

Warm enough for November
Wear it most days walking the dog up the Blorenge. Keeps the rain out and the mesh makes it feel warmer than my old one. Pockets are deep, which I like. Bit heavy to carry on a summer hill day.
