About this product
Laithe covers wet weekday walks and the odd Sunday on the fells. The 2-layer shell has a hanging mesh lining, which feels warmer and less sticky than a bare membrane on cold, damp days. It's rated to 10,000mm and the seams are fully taped.
The back hem is 3cm longer than the front, so it stays down under a pack strap, and the waist is shaped. The hood has a peak and folds into the collar. Laithe sits under our lifetime repair promise, so a broken zip means a visit to the repair bench.
- Mesh lining for a warmer, drier feel
- Back hem 3cm longer than the front
- Peaked hood folds into the collar
- Recycled nylon face with a PFAS-free finish
- Inside zip pocket for a phone or folded map

Warm, maybe too warm
Well made and dry, no complaints there. On a mild wet day on Haldon it got too warm and there are no pit zips to let air in. Better for winter than spring.

My go-to for Loughrigg
I've had a few waterproofs and this is the first that doesn't feel cold and clammy inside. Wore it round Loughrigg Tarn in proper Lakeland rain and came home dry. The purple is a bit darker than the photo, which I prefer.
