Lochnagar in January
Wild day on Lochnagar, spindrift and sleet, and I stayed dry and warm enough. The wired brim keeps your face clear. Expensive, but I'd buy it again.

Great shell, stiff fabric
Totally waterproof on a wet weekend in Glencoe. The fabric is stiff and a bit noisy compared with my old jacket, and it took a few weeks to soften. Hand pockets are too high for everyday use.

Three winters and counting
I guide on the Ben and this has done three winters. Still waterproof, the hood still fits over a helmet and the zips are all fine. I reproof it twice a season.
