About this product
The Carr is for people who walk most weekends on good paths and want a waterproof boot that feels light from the first mile. The upper is recycled polyester ripstop with synthetic suede at the toe and heel, and a pair weighs 1,060g in a UK 8.
It shares the Weatherline membrane with our dearer boots. The midsole is softer and the lugs are shallower at 3.5mm, so on steep, rocky ground you'll feel more of what's underfoot than you would in the Dene.
- Recycled polyester ripstop upper with synthetic suede toe and heel
- Weatherline waterproof membrane
- Tor Grip sole with 3.5mm lugs
- Single-density EVA midsole, soft from the first walk
- PFAS-free water-repellent finish on the ripstop

Light and comfy
Bought these for the walk to work across the fields and ended up wearing them up Shining Tor most Sundays too. No break-in needed.

Good value, fine on Haldon
I use them for forest walks on Haldon most weekends. Dry so far after about four months. Not much grip on wet roots compared with my old leather boots.
