About this product

Leather boots for women often start life as a scaled-down men's pattern. We cut the Brae on its own women's last, with a narrower heel cup and a cuff 1.5cm lower, so it doesn't dig into the back of your leg on steep climbs.

The leather is 2.2mm, a little thinner than the men's, which takes about 120g off the pair. When the 5mm Tor Grip lugs wear down, bring the boots into any store and we'll send them away to be resoled.

Materials

Full-grain leather upper. Recycled polyester lining with a polyurethane membrane. PU midsole, rubber outsole.

Care

Brush off dried mud, wipe with a damp cloth and let the leather dry naturally. Wax two or three times a year, more often in winter.

    Lovely leather, bit stiff at first

    It took a few walks along the South Dorset Ridgeway before they felt right. The Bracken colour is lovely and has gone a shade darker with wax.

    Finally a leather boot that fits me

    I have narrow heels and have always ended up in fabric boots. These hold my heel properly. Wore them for the Three Peaks in July and came home with no blisters.
