About this product
If you count grams, Twite is the shell to take. The women's version weighs 150g in a size 12 and packs into its chest pocket. Its 2.5-layer Updraft fabric is rated to 20,000mm and breathes at 25,000g/m²/24h, so it copes with a climb in mild rain better than most.
The hood has a stiffened peak and adjusts at the back and sides. It's shaped at the waist and long enough to cover the top of your trousers. The face fabric is 10-denier recycled nylon, light enough that it needs a bit of care around barbed wire and gorse.

Excellent, sizing small
Lovely light jacket for the Long Mynd. I'm normally a 12 and had to go up to a 14 to fit a fleece underneath. Otherwise no complaints.

Lives in my running vest
I use it for long runs and hillwalking in the Cairngorms. Packs tiny and it's genuinely waterproof, which my old running jacket wasn't. The hood stays on in the wind on Cairn Gorm.
