About this product
On most summer walks the jacket comes out for an hour at most. Intake weighs 260g in a size 12 and packs into its own chest pocket, so it costs you very little to carry. Its 2.5-layer Weatherline fabric is rated to 10,000mm, which covers sharp showers on the South West Coast Path.
The cut is shaped at the waist with a slightly longer back, and there's room underneath for a thin fleece. If it tears, bring it to any Swift & Hale shop and we'll repair it for as long as you own it.
- Stows in its zipped chest pocket
- Shaped waist and a back hem 4cm longer than the front
- Roll-away hood with a single rear adjuster
- PFAS-free finish on a recycled nylon face fabric
- Taped seams throughout

Pocket-sized and properly waterproof
I walk most Sundays in the Beacons and this lives in my bum bag. Got caught on Pen y Fan in a squall last month and stayed dry underneath. Can't fault it for £70.

Third summer and still going
Still dry after three summers in Connemara, and I've had one seam re-taped at the Galway shop. It took about a week. Good to know they do the repairs they promise.

Light but a bit rustly
Lovely and light for the coast path and the colour is nice. It does rustle when you walk, which my friend found funny. Dry after two hours of drizzle between Seatown and Eype.
