About this product

Snipe weighs 140g in size M and squashes down smaller than a 500ml bottle. The 2.5-layer Updraft fabric is rated to 10,000mm and breathes at 25,000g/m²/24h, and when you're running uphill in rain, breathability is the number you'll notice.

It has a full hood and taped seams, which is what most fell race kit checks ask for, and no pockets. The cut is slim with long arms and a dropped back. It's one of this season's new Swift shells and, like the rest of the range, has a PFAS-free finish.

Passed kit check, stayed dry
Wore it for the Trail Panel at a short fell race above Grasmere in September, then on three wet training runs. The kit check marshal had no complaints and nor did I. Hood is tight over a cap.
