About this product

Greenshanks nest out on the wet moors of Sutherland and Caithness, which gives you an idea of the ground this boot is for. Each boot weighs 410g in a UK 8, about 180g less than our Dene, with a Lightseal membrane under a recycled mesh upper.

The Uplift foam midsole keeps its bounce over long days, and the Fleet Grip lugs are 4mm deep. It suits the West Highland Way or a two-night Cairngorms trip with a pack under 12kg.

    Narrow at the front

Good boot but it's narrow across the forefoot. I went up half a size and it's fine now with a midweight sock.

Light and dry through the Lairig Ghru

Walked through to Braemar over two days in these. Dry the whole way and my legs felt fresher than in my old leather boots. Lugs are holding up after about 200 miles.

Callum, Aviemore · 30 August 2025 · Bought size 9, fits true to size
