About this product

The Rime gilet holds 80g of 800-fill goose down and weighs 220g in size M, which makes it one of the warmest things you can add to a pack for its weight.

Wear it under a shell on a cold, windy ridge or over a fleece at camp. Northwold gives it a stand collar, two zipped hand pockets and an inside pocket that doubles as its stuff sack. The shell is 10-denier recycled nylon with a PFAS-free finish.

Materials

Shell and lining 100% recycled nylon with a PFAS-free water-repellent finish. Fill 90% goose down, 10% feather, 800 FP.

Care

Wash at 30°C with a down cleaner. Tumble dry low with two clean tennis balls until the down is fully dry and lofted.

Under the shell all winter
I wear it under my waterproof on cold days on Ben Vrackie and it's all I need. Small enough to stuff in the lid of my pack. Pricey for a gilet.
