About this product
Hoar is Northwold's everyday down jacket and one of the most popular warm layers we stock. It holds 130g of 700-fill duck down in a 30-denier recycled nylon shell, tough enough for pack straps and the train home. It weighs 380g in size M.
There's no hood, so it layers neatly under a waterproof. A stand collar comes up to the chin, the two hand pockets are lined with brushed fabric, and an inside mesh pocket holds gloves. Northwold sews the baffles 9cm apart, which gives the down room to loft.
- 130g of 700 FP duck down
- 30D recycled nylon shell takes pack straps
- Stand collar, no hood, layers under a shell
- Hand pockets lined with brushed fabric

Wear it everywhere
Bought it for winter walks and now it's my everyday coat. Warm without being bulky, and the shell hasn't marked under my rucksack straps. Third winter and it still lofts up after a wash.

Warm, wish it had a hood
Very warm for Dartmoor in winter, and good value at the Club price. I'd have liked a hood for windy days on the tors. Fits well under my waterproof.

Feathers poking through
Good warm jacket. A few feathers work their way out at the seams, which I'm told is normal for down. Hasn't affected the warmth.
