About this product
Byre is the warm layer we'd pull on at a cold lunch stop on Dartmoor in November. It's filled with Hearthfill, our recycled polyester insulation, at 100g/m² in the body and 80g/m² in the sleeves. Synthetic fill keeps most of its warmth when it gets damp, which on a British hill it usually does.
The shell is 30-denier recycled nylon with a PFAS-free finish that sheds light drizzle. There's an insulated hood, two hand pockets lined with brushed fabric and an inside pocket. It weighs 480g in size M and packs into its own hand pocket.

Warm, bit bulky
Really warm for the price and it's been fine in damp weather. It packs into its pocket but still takes up a fair bit of room in a daypack.

Lunch stop jacket
I carry it on every winter walk on the moor and put it on whenever we stop. Warm even when it's been drizzling. The hood is good over a hat.
