About this product
Intake overtrousers weigh 210g in size M and pack into their back pocket, so they can stay in your daypack all year. The 2.5-layer Weatherline fabric is rated to 10,000mm with fully taped seams.
Ankle zips open 30cm, wide enough to pull them on over walking boots once you've got the knack. The waist is elasticated with a drawcord, and a press stud at each hem closes it round a boot or gaiter. They come in short, regular and long legs, and like all Hale waterproofs they're covered by our lifetime repair promise.

Two years of use
Two years of hill days and dog walks. The inner coating at the knee has started to wear, so I'll take them in to be looked at. Still dry everywhere else.

Good but long
Waterproof and light. Even the regular leg drags under my heel, so I'd go short next time. I'm 5ft 8in.

Cheap insurance
These go everywhere with me. Pulled them on at the top of Pen-y-ghent when the weather came in and my trousers stayed dry. Easier to get on over boots than my last pair.
