With full-length side zips that open from either end, Brackwater trousers go on over boots and crampons and come off again at the summit cairn when the sun comes out. The 3-layer Weatherline fabric is rated to 20,000mm and breathes at 20,000g/m²/24h. They weigh 380g in size M.

There's a part-elastic waist with a built-in belt, a zipped thigh pocket for a map, and scuff panels on the inside ankles. Leg lengths come short, regular or long. They use the same standard zips as the jacket, so any Hale repair bench can replace one.
