About this product

Blatter is the heaviest jacket Cairnhope makes, in 70-denier Stormcairn 3L throughout. It's longer than Thole, reaching the top of the thigh, and the hood is deep enough to close round your face over a helmet and a neck gaiter. The fabric is rated to 28,000mm and breathes at 20,000g/m²/24h. It weighs 610g in size M.

There are no pit zips: in Scottish winter wind you rarely open them, and every zip is a way in for spindrift. The chest pockets have mesh backs that open for air instead. Last season's colours are reduced while stocks last.

Warm and bombproof
For proper winter days on An Teallach it's the best I've had. I miss pit zips on the walk in, but I understand why they've left them out. Heavy to carry when you don't need it.
