About this product

The Moorstone 500 uses 500g of 600 fill power duck down, which needs more down than a high fill power bag for the same warmth. That makes it heavier than the Swift Plume 450 by about 230g, and £70 cheaper.

It is comfortable to -3°C and packs to 20 x 30cm. The body has box-wall baffles, and the feet are sewn through, which keeps the price down. Most people buy it as their first down bag, after a synthetic one.

Shell and lining 100% nylon. Fill 80% duck down, 20% feather.

Care

Store loose in the cotton bag. Wash at 30°C with a down cleaner and tumble dry low with tennis balls.

Big step up from synthetic
Half the size of my old bag in the pack and warmer. Used it at Crowden in April at about -1°C and slept well.
