About this product

The Plume 700 is for snow camps in the Cairngorms and the Lake District fells in January. It holds 700g of 850 fill power goose down in box-wall baffles, with a deep hood and a collar that seals round your neck.

We used a slightly heavier 15D shell here, so you can lie it on a frosty mat without worrying. Pair it with a mat of R-value 5 or more, or the ground will take the heat the down gives you.

  • 700g of 850 fill power goose down
  • Deep hood and a down-filled neck collar
  • Full-length left zip with a double draught tube
  • PFAS-free treatment helps the down cope with frost and condensation
  • Stuff sack with compression straps

    Warm on the Cairngorm plateau

Used it in January on the Cairngorm plateau, about -11°C overnight. Slept with a hat on and was warm. Heavy-ish but you won't find warmer for the weight.
