About this product
Synthetic fill keeps most of its warmth when it gets damp, and in a British tent it usually does. The Growan 3 uses two layers of continuous-filament polyester, which lofts higher than hollowfibre and packs smaller.
It is comfortable to 2°C and weighs 1.55kg. That makes it a sound first bag for wild camping on Dartmoor or a youth expedition in April. The hood has a shaped baffle, and a draught tube runs the length of the zip.
- Two offset layers of continuous-filament fill
- Shaped hood and a neck baffle
- Draught tube behind the full-length zip
- Inside pocket for a phone
- Packs into the compression sack supplied

Warm but bulky
Warm enough for a frosty night at Upper Booth. Takes up a lot of my 45-litre pack though, so I'm saving up for down.

Bought four for the kids
All four of our teenagers have one now. They've been on expedition training in the Beacons and nobody complained about being cold, which is a first.

Great first proper bag
Used it on Dartmoor in April and woke up warm with frost on the tent. The draught tube on the zip makes a big difference.
