The women's Redstart weighs 295g in a size 12 and moves like a base layer. Swift's 170g/m² Shearweave fabric stretches four ways and stops most of the wind, and a PFAS-free finish sheds a passing squall.

The hood is close fitting, so it sits under a helmet or a waterproof hood, and the cuffs have thumb loops. Both pockets are on the chest, above a harness or hip belt. The waist is shaped and the back is slightly dropped.

Moves with me
I climb and scramble in the Ogwen Valley and this is the first softshell that doesn't ride up when I reach. Warm enough on a cold day with a base layer. Love the purple.
