About this product
Laver is the jacket for bright, cold days when wind is the problem and rain isn't forecast. Hale's Drystone fabric stretches with you on a scramble and has a brushed back that feels warm against a base layer. The weave stops most of the wind.
The PFAS-free finish sheds light showers, but bring a waterproof for steady rain. The hood sits under a shell hood, and the hand pockets are high enough to use with a hip belt. It weighs 420g in a size 12.

Fit not for me
Well made and the fabric is lovely. It's quite fitted round the hips and I'd have liked a bit more length. Went up a size in the end.

Lovely on windy edges
I climb and walk around Hathersage and this is my go-to for breezy days on the edges. Stretchy and warm, and I don't sweat in it. The colour is a nice muted green.
