About this product
Redstart is a softshell for moving quickly over rough ground. Swift's Shearweave fabric is a thin, stretchy double weave, 170g/m², that blocks most of the wind and dries fast after a shower. The hoody weighs 340g in size M.
The hood is close fitting and goes under a helmet. Two chest pockets sit above a harness, and the cuffs have thumb loops. We named it after the red-billed crow you see on sea cliffs in Pembrokeshire and Cornwall.

Great, pockets odd
Lovely fabric for climbing in the Gorge on cold days. I'd prefer hand pockets for walking about, because the chest pockets are a stretch to reach into. The fit is spot on.

Scrambling top
Wore it on Crib Goch on a cold, windy April morning. It moves with you and I never felt too hot. The hood under my helmet was fine.
