About this product
Our lightest hooded fleece. A 140g/m² grid knit sits close to the body, so it moves sweat away quickly on a fast ascent, and on a cold, dry day it works as the top layer on its own.
The hood is a balaclava cut that covers your chin and ears without a drawcord to flap about. There are thumb loops in the cuffs and a 20cm zip at the neck, and the whole hoody squashes down to the size of a grapefruit.

The hood is brilliant
With the balaclava hood I don't bother with a hat on the plateau unless it's properly cold. Light enough to forget it's in the pack.

Good fabric, tight fit
Fabric is great but it's cut very slim. I'm broad in the chest and had to go up two sizes, then the arms were too long.
