About this product
The Heaf is the fleece most of our shop teams wear on led walks. Its grid back traps warm air in the squares and lets damp escape along the channels, so it stays comfortable on a steady climb up Helvellyn and still feels warm when you stop for a sandwich at the top.
Heaf is the Cumbrian word for the patch of fell a flock knows as home. Ours has a high collar, two zipped hand pockets set above a hip belt and a zipped chest pocket for your phone.

Machine wash at 30°C inside out with the zips done up. Do not tumble dry.

Warm without the bulk
Wore it on Kinder in January under a waterproof and never needed my down jacket. The grid lets the sweat out when you're going uphill.

Third one I've bought
Wore the last one for six winters until the cuffs went. Same fit, same pockets, slightly softer inside. It lives in the car for dog walks and comes up the fells under a shell.

Good fleece, short in the arm
Warm, and the pockets clear my rucksack belt. I've got long arms and the sleeves ride up when I use poles. Size up if you're the same.
