About this product

Same thin grid fleece as the men's Dipper, cut for women with a longer back and a little more room at the hips. It is warm for its weight and lets heat out quickly, and you can keep it on from the car park at Pont ar Daf to the top of Pen y Fan.

Pull the hood up and it covers your chin and ears like a balaclava. The chest pocket takes a phone or a couple of gels, and in size 12 the hoody weighs 225g.

    Best thing I bought this year

    Wore it for the whole of a cold horseshoe walk in the Beacons in March. Never too hot on the climbs, and the hood saved my ears at the top.

    Lovely but snug

    Fits like a base layer. If you want something underneath it, go up a size. The blue is a lovely deep colour.
