About this product

The Flick 1 uses one walking pole at the front and a short alloy strut at the foot, so you carry no main pole at all. Packed, it is about the size of a 1-litre bottle. The inner stays clipped to the fly, which means it goes up in one piece and stays dry in the rain.

Its flysheet is recycled ripstop nylon, from one of the two mills we have been trialling for the Spring Summer 2027 tents. Our testers pitched it through a wet October on the north moor before we signed it off.

  • Pitches on one walking pole set between 120 and 130cm
  • Inner and fly pitch together, so the inner stays dry
  • Recycled 20D ripstop flysheet with a PFAS-free water-repellent finish
  • Six peg points, with reflective guylines at the head end
  • Side door with a 0.7m² porch for boots and a pack

    Two nights near Fur Tor

Took it out with one pole set at 125cm and it went up in about five minutes. Some condensation on the second morning but nothing dripped on me. The whole lot fits in the side pocket of my pack.
