About this product

One hubbed pole holds the Dunlin 1 up on its own, so you can move it after pitching to get off a lump or out of a puddle. It stands 100cm at the peak, enough to sit up and change out of wet socks.

Fly and inner go up together. On the West Highland Way our testers had it pitched and pegged in under four minutes, in rain. The single door opens onto a porch that takes a 50-litre pack and boots.

  • Single hubbed 7001 alloy pole, freestanding once pitched
  • Pitches fly and inner together in about four minutes
  • PFAS-free water-repellent finish on the flysheet
  • Two vents at the head end to cut condensation
  • Porch of 0.7m² with a toggle to hold the door open

Reviews on this demo are invented, like everything else here.

Good, a little tight for tall people

I'm 6ft 2 and my bag touches the inner at both ends. For anyone shorter it would be ideal. Packs down small.

    Light enough for the hills

I used it over four nights on the Cape Wrath Trail. It held up fine in a blowy night near Sourlies and I could sit up inside to cook in the porch. Pegs are a bit thin for peaty ground, so I swapped two.
