About this product
Firecrest's burner locks onto the base of a 1-litre hard-anodised pot with a finned heat exchanger, so more of the flame goes into the water. In testing at Hale House it boiled about 26 litres from one 230g canister.
The burner, a 100g canister and a folding spoon all pack inside the pot. A neoprene cosy covers the sides and the lid has strainer holes. The push-button piezo still lights the burner when it is wet.

Fast on a windy Pen y Fan
Tried it at the summit in a proper westerly. It boiled water for two packs of noodles while my friend's old stove was still spluttering. The cosy smells of neoprene for the first few uses.
