About this product

The Thaw gilet is new for Spring Summer 2027. It uses 60g/m² of Northwold's Loftweb insulation, enough to take the chill off an April morning without leaving you too warm by lunchtime, and it weighs 210g in size M.

Synthetic fill means you can wear it under a damp shell all day. There's a stand collar, two zipped hand pockets and stretch binding on the armholes. The shell is 20-denier recycled nylon with a PFAS-free finish.

Good spring layer
Had a test sample for the Trail Panel and wore it on wet September walks on the Wessex Ridgeway. Warm enough under a waterproof and not sweaty. The collar is a bit low.
