About this product

Moorside make this compass to go with their own maps, so the romers on the plate match both the 1:25,000 Walker's Maps and the 1:40,000 Mountain Maps. A 1:50,000 scale along the long edge covers older maps.

It has adjustable declination and luminous bezel points, and the 12cm baseplate is longer than most, which helps you take an accurate bearing. A card in the box explains how to take a bearing and walk on it.

Scales match my maps
Handy that the romers fit the Moorside maps I use. The magnifier is small for my eyes.
