About this product
Women's Byre is the insulated jacket we sell more of than any other. It's filled with Hearthfill recycled polyester at 100g/m² in the body, which holds onto its warmth in drizzle and hill fog better than down does. It weighs 420g in a size 12.
The cut is shaped at the waist and long enough to cover your lower back when you bend over a stove. The hood is insulated and adjusts at the back. Both hand pockets have brushed linings, and the jacket packs into one of them.

Lovely, sleeves a bit short
Very warm on cold days at Burbage. My only gripe is the sleeves, which ride up when I reach for things. I've got long arms, though.

Wear it all winter
I bought it for walking but I wear it every day from October to March. Warm and light, and it hasn't flattened after two winters. The hood is lovely on cold mornings.
