About this product

On a frosty morning a gilet keeps your body warm and leaves your arms free to swing. Women's Byre has 100g/m² of Hearthfill recycled insulation and a shaped waist, and it weighs 250g in a size 12.

Wear it over a fleece, or under a waterproof when the wind gets up. The collar is high and soft-lined, and the armholes are bound with elastic to keep draughts out. It packs into a hand pocket.

Lives in the car
I keep it in the car for walks with the dog and wear it more than any of my coats. Warm but not too warm. The pink is softer than it looks online.
