About this product
The Howe 14 holds a waterproof, a fleece, lunch and a drink, which is as much as a young walker should carry. The padded back suits backs of about 30 to 38cm, and a chest strap stops the shoulder straps sliding off narrow shoulders.
Each side mesh pocket takes a 500ml bottle, and reflective tabs on the front show up at dusk. It uses Hale's standard buckles, so a broken one can be swapped at any repair bench. There is a name label inside the main zip.

Used every weekend

Just the right size
Big enough for his own coat and sandwiches, small enough that he can't fill it with rocks. He carried it all the way up Latrigg.

Bottle pockets too tight
Lovely pack and comfortable. The side pockets are snug for her chunky bottle, so it lives inside.
