About this product

The Garron is the pack we suggest for a two-hour loop round Maiden Castle or a Year 7 field trip. A wide zip opens two thirds of the way down the sides, so you can reach the bottom without unpacking, and a padded sleeve inside holds a tablet or map case.

There is no frame, only a foam back pad and a webbing waist strap. That keeps the weight to 480g and the price down. It is still a Hale pack, so the lifetime repair promise covers it.

Materials

Body 100% recycled nylon (210 denier) with a PFAS-free water-repellent finish. Back pad polyethylene foam with a polyester mesh cover.

Care

Wipe with a damp cloth or hand wash in lukewarm water with mild soap. Air dry with the zips open.

Good for school trips
Bought two for my kids for a geography trip to Lulworth. Sturdy, and the zip is easy for small hands. I'd like a padded waist belt, but at this price I'm not complaining.
