About this product

The women's Thole overtrousers have a higher back and more room at the seat, so they cover the gap under a jacket when you bend. The Stormcairn 3L fabric is rated to 28,000mm, and they weigh 380g in a size 12.

Full-length side zips mean you can put them on over crampons. Each ankle has an 80-denier patch, an adjustable hem and a lace hook. There's a thigh pocket and loops for braces, which some winter climbers prefer to a tight waist.

No more cold back
The higher back is what sold me. Wore them all day in the Cairngorms in February and never had snow down my waistband. Zips are smooth even with gloves on.
