About this product
Laces usually go at the hooks first, where the metal rubs every time you tighten them. These are braided polyester with a waxed finish, which slides over hooks with less wear and doesn't soak up water or grit.
The 4.5mm round profile fits nearly every walking boot. Regular is 150cm for mid boots, and Long is 180cm for high leather boots with more hooks.

Better than the originals
The laces on my boots kept fraying at the top hooks. These have lasted a full year so far. The Long length was right for my high boots.
