About this product
Peat hags are the soft, broken banks of peat on high moorland, and crossing them in summer still means mud to the knee. The Mire is a full-length gaiter in recycled nylon with a PFAS-free finish, waterproof to 10,000mm, with a tougher lower panel for heather and bramble.
It opens down the front with a hook-and-loop flap and a top popper, so you can put it on with your boots on. The underfoot strap is replaceable, and our repair benches keep spares.

Care
Rinse off mud with cold water and hang to dry. Hand wash only.

Good, strap wore through
Kept the Dartmoor mud off all winter. The underfoot strap wore through after about eight months, but the Okehampton shop swapped it in five minutes.

Kept me clean on Black Hill
