About this product

The Angle 40 puts Tarnside's suspended mesh back on a frame stiff enough for 14kg. The daypacks use spring steel; this uses an aluminium perimeter frame, and the back length slides on a ladder at the top of the mesh.

There is a lid, a J-zip into the main compartment, a sleeping bag zip at the base and a rain cover. It suits warm-weather trips such as a few days on the South West Coast Path between campsites.

  • Suspended mesh back on an aluminium frame
  • Back length adjusts on a ladder
  • Front J-zip into the main compartment
  • Separate sleeping bag compartment with base zip
  • Rain cover kept in its own base pocket

    Cool on the coast path

Five days from Padstow to St Ives in a hot spell. My back stayed fairly dry and the hip belt took the weight well. The front zip saves a lot of rummaging.
