About this product
For Spring Summer 2026 we changed the hip belt on this pack. Colleagues who carried it on their test days told us the old belt dug in on long descents with a full load, so the new belt is 2cm wider at the hips, stiffer, and lined with a softer foam.
The rest is unchanged: a back that slides from 44 to 54cm (S/M) or 49 to 59cm (M/L), a lid, a stretch front pocket, a base zip to the sleeping bag, and room for two or three nights on the Pennine Way.
- Hip belt redesigned for SS26 after colleague test days
- Sliding yoke adjusts the back length by 10cm
- Base zip into the sleeping bag compartment
- Stowed rain cover and two hip belt pockets
- Carries loads up to 15kg

Comfortable but heavy
I trust it not to fall apart, but at 1.5kg it's heavy next to the light packs my friends use. The side pockets are hard to reach with the pack on.

Solid pack
Carried about 13kg over two days on the Beacons Way with a tent. Comfortable all the way. The lid pocket could be bigger.

The new hip belt is better
I had the old version and it rubbed my left hip by day two of anything. Took the new one for three days on the Pennine Way from Edale to Hebden Bridge and had no sore spots. The shop set the back length up for me in ten minutes.
