About this product
The Selvedge has three layers: a knitted nylon outer, a waterproof breathable membrane and a merino lining against your skin. Wear it with trail shoes on wet days, or with mesh boots like the Hale Foss when you know you'll be crossing streams.
Water can still get in over the top if you wade deeper than the cuff. It's thicker than a normal sock, so loosen your laces or try your shoes with it first.

Materials
Outer 92% nylon, 8% elastane. Polyurethane membrane. Lining 58% merino wool, 42% polyester.
Care
Wash inside out at 30°C without wringing. Dry inside out first, then turn them the right way and finish drying.

Leaked after a few months
Worked well at first. After about three months of weekly use the left one started letting water in at the toe. Good while it lasted.

Dry in trail shoes
Wore them with mesh trail shoes on a very wet day on Dartmoor. Feet stayed dry apart from a bit of sweat. They are hot in warm weather.
