About this product
Most of these go to schools and youth groups, many through our hire counters, and they come back muddy every time. The fabric is 600-denier recycled nylon, heavier than our other packs, and the base has a second layer of TPU-coated fabric.
The back adjusts from 41 to 56cm on a ladder, so one pack fits a 14-year-old and their teacher. There is one large compartment, a lid, a sleeping bag zip and a hi-vis rain cover. It weighs 2.2kg and carries 18kg.
- 600D recycled nylon with a reinforced base
- Ladder back adjusts from 41 to 56cm
- Zip at the base for the sleeping bag
- Hi-vis yellow rain cover in the base
- Name label inside the lid

Big, sturdy, heavy
My daughter carried it across Dartmoor on her expedition and it coped with everything. It is heavy at over 2kg, and the lid buckles were stiff for her cold hands.

Two seasons of school use
We bought 12 for our school's expedition group. After two seasons of Peak District practice walks they've needed nothing more than a wash, and the one torn hip belt was fixed free.
