About this product

Fill the Sanderling from a beck, screw on the filter cap and drink. Its 0.1-micron hollow-fibre filter takes out bacteria, protozoa and silt, and is good for about 1,000 litres before it needs replacing.

It does not remove viruses or chemicals, so collect water above farms and villages or treat it as well. Bottle and filter weigh 145g together, and the bottle rolls up into a jacket pocket when empty.

Two nights in the Howgills
Filled it from becks well above the farms on a two-night trip. Flow is decent once you've backflushed it the first time. The bottle crinkles loudly.
