About this product
Gabbro is the coarse, grippy rock of the Cuillin on Skye, and Scree Line's Gabbro 5 is built for that kind of ground. The Clast sticky rubber has a smooth climbing zone under the toe, and the lacing runs right down to it so the shoe fits closely on small holds.
The suede upper has a full rubber rand, and the 5mm drop keeps your foot low and stable. At 820g a pair in a UK 8 it's light enough for the walk-in as well as scrambles like Crib Goch.

Materials

Care
Brush off grit after each use, because it wears the suede. Wash with cold water and dry away from heat.

Great grip, wears fast
Best grip I've had on Tryfan and the Glyders. The sticky rubber is wearing quickly at the heel after a summer of road walking to the crags though.

Sticks to everything
Took them along the ridge from Sgurr nan Gillean to Bruach na Frithe. Brilliant grip on the gabbro and comfy enough for the walk in from Sligachan.
