About this product

The guide splits the 268 miles into 19 day stages, with a 1:50,000 strip map of each beside the route description. Every stage lists distance, ascent, water, shops and places to sleep, from campsites to hostels and B&Bs.

A separate section covers the hard days, including Cross Fell in poor weather and the long Cheviot stage at the end, about 26 miles with no village on the way. It has 240 pages and a laminated cover.

Got me to Kirk Yetholm
Used it for the whole walk last May. The water and shop notes were right everywhere except one shop that had closed. The strip maps meant I hardly opened my big maps.
