About this product
Moorside's Mountain Maps use 1:40,000 so a whole range fits on one side. This one runs from Aviemore and Glenmore south over Cairn Gorm (1,245m), Ben Macdui (1,309m) and Braeriach to Derry Lodge, with the Lairig Ghru through the middle.
Contours are at 15m, with rock and scree drawn in grey. New for the 2027 edition, the back carries a 1:12,500 enlargement of the plateau between Cairn Gorm and Ben Macdui, where navigating in cloud is hardest.
- Whole massif on one side at 1:40,000
- 1:12,500 enlargement of the plateau on the back
- 15m contours with rock and scree in grey
- Polyethylene sheet that is very hard to tear

The plateau enlargement helps
Had an early copy from the shop for a navigation course in September. The enlargement of the plateau makes the ground between the summits far easier to read in cloud.
