About this product
When rain stops beading on your jacket and the face fabric goes dark and heavy, the water-repellent finish needs topping up. Wash the jacket first with our Technical Wash, then run a second cycle with this proofer in the drawer.
The formula is water based and PFAS free, like the finish we put on every Hale waterproof. One 300ml bottle treats two to three jackets, or a jacket and a pair of overtrousers. It also works on softshells and on synthetic jackets with a shell fabric.

Easy to use

Jacket like new
My four-year-old shell was wetting out on the shoulders. One wash and proof and the rain beads off again.

Works, but tumble dry it
Works well, but it was much better once I tumble dried on low like the label says. Air dried, it wasn't as good.
