About this product

Down loses its loft as body oil and dirt build up, and household detergents strip the natural oils that keep feathers springy. Hale Down Wash cleans gently and rinses out fully. The down then dries fluffy again in the tumble dryer.

Use it in a front-loading machine at 30°C with a slow spin, then tumble dry on low with two or three clean tennis balls until there are no clumps left. That can take three hours for a jacket. One bottle washes two jackets or one sleeping bag.
